Hello METRA members

 The METRA board voted on December 12th to revise the previous decision to raise sanction fees to $4.  Starting January 1st the sanction fees will be $3.50 team. 

The board voted December 12th on the format for the Open roping for the 2012 METRA finals.  Any METRA member that attends and participates at 2 METRA sanctioned ropings will be eligible to enter the Open finals once; if a member attends and participates at 4 sanctioned ropings they are eligible to enter the Open finals twice; any member that participates at 6 or more sanctioned ropings will be eligible to enter the Open roping a maximum of 3 entries.  The fees will be $175/man and it will be non-progressive 7 head.  There has been a #7 & Above that has secured $1000 to be added to the Open finals.  For any roper to be qualified for year-end awards they must attend 12 ropings. 

 Everyone needs to remember that any qualified member that gets a full sponorship for year a end saddle will get there  fees paid for the 2012 METRA finals.
